Follixin is a self proclaimed “scientifically proven hair loss prevention supplement” (i.e. a DHT Blocker pill) created by a US-based supplement company of the same name.

One bottle of Follixin cost $39.99 (cheaper if you purchase bundle packs), contains 60 gelatin capsules, and should last the average user exactly 30 days, based on the directions of two capsules per day with breakfast and lunch. The product can only be purchased directly from the official Follixin website – it cannot be found in the usual places like Amazon or GNC.

As with the vast majority of DHT Blocker supplements, Follixin is marketed directly towards men who are either losing their hair, or are worried about potentially losing their hair in the future. The manufacturers themselves officially state that Follixin works to “strengthens existing hair at the root and shaft”, going on to claim that it “stimulates decaying hair follicles to begin growing new hair”.

At the core is Follixin is a complex of various vitamins, minerals, natural herbal extracts, amino acids, and structural proteins. Consumers of Follixin are told to expect effects such as improved head hair count, hair regrowth, and improved scalp health.

For about 3 months i’ve been using Follixin and I feel like I can honestly say I have seen some subtle improvements, but there’s been no drastic hair regrowth as seen on the website. Overall I’ve just noticed that my hair seems to be a little thicker then normal (for example, it’s harder to see my scalp through my hair now), and it also seems to be stronger.

Decent product but not the miracle hair loss cure it’s hyped up to be. I haven’t felt any negative side effects like I did when using the prescription stuff, but if you’re hoping this is going to be more effective than the topical foams like rogaine then you’ll be disappointed – at most I saw a tiny increase in hair growth on parts of my hair that were thinning, but the completely bald patches never regrew.

Our Final Verdict On Follixin

To conclude our Follixin review, it’s a bit of a mixed bag – there are thing that we like and dislike.

Fundamentally, we do not believe the product really has the capability of both preventing hair loss and reversing hair loss; after searching for concrete scientific evidence we simply could not find anything to fully support the manufacturers claims.

In our opinion, the before and after pictures on the website are likely fabricated, based on the available scientific evidence (but we have no proof of that, just a hunch).

Despite this, the formula does contain a lot of highly useful ingredients that can help contribute towards improved scalp health. They can also help you ensure you’re providing your body with the key nutrients required to support normal hair production.

There’s a slim chance that your hair loss could be diet-related to a lack of nutrients – if that’s a the case, then the Follixin formula potentially could help you see some regrowth of dying hair follicles, but if your diet is otherwise fine, don’t hold your breathe.
