By quitting smoking you will drop the likelihood of getting diabetes and many, many, more beneficial effects will be felt by you in a small time. 8. Stop Eating Processed Foods

Type 1 or Type 2?

Diabetes is a lifelong condition that makes an individuals blood sugar level become too high. Diabetes comes in 2 forms, type 1 and type 2.

Type 1 diabetes is where the pancreas does not produce any insulin. Type 2 is where the pancreas does not produce enough insulin or the body’s cells don’t react to insulin. In its type 1 form diabetes cannot be cured.

Type 2 diabetes can be avoided and before type 2 diabetes is present there is a prediabetes stage before the onset of type 2 disease. The progression from prediabetes to type 2 diabetes is not guaranteed and it can be avoided.

  • feeling very thirsty
  • increased appetite
  • blurred vision
  • headaches
  • dry mouth
