What Is Lean1?

Lean1 Fat Burning Meal Replacement is a weight loss shake produced by a US-based company named Nutrition 53.

One tub of Lean1 contains 15 servings and costs $39.97, which works out at $2.66 per replaced meal.

This product seems to only be available via the official Lean1 website, Amazon, GNC and Walmart.

To date there is very little trading history information on the manufacturers Nutrition 53, the brand are not on the Better Business Bureau Database and we couldn’t find them on any other customer review websites.

Lean1 Shake finds itself placed at the core of Nutrition 53’s weight management range; it is marketed as a meal replacement shake that contains fat burning ingredients and is nutrient-dense. Interestingly Nutrition 53 make absolutely no clear directions of usage for Lean1 – the packaging simply states “mix 2-3 scoops into water and consume”, users are not told how many meals they need to replace, nor are they told what to eat in-between servings.

Consumers are promised a multitude of effects such as suppressed hunger levels, the increased ability to burn body fat and boosted energy levels.

Does Lean1 Shake Work?

Based on our research into this product, this product could be useful for the purposes of weight loss, however we do not believe Lean1 Shake will work directly as described.

Firstly, this product does not actually have the ability to “burn body fat”, nor does it contain any ingredient that will effectively boost user metabolic rates.

On a more positive note, it does contain CLA and Green Coffee Bean Extract, which may be useful for weight loss, however these certainly aren’t bonafide fat burning ingredients.

The good news is you probably still can lose weight with this product, provided you take the right approach to using it.

Despite Nutrition 53’s complete lack of adequate directions, for users to lose weight with Lean1 Shake they should replace all three of their daily meals with a serving of the product. In replacing all three daily meals, you’ll be crashing your daily caloric intake through the floor, which will result in gradual weight loss.

This type of shake-only diet is what is known as a VLCD (very low calorie diet). Sticking to a VLCD is a tried-and-tested method of weight loss, however it’s one of the most difficult diets to keep up and requires large amounts of willpower and determination.

To summarize, don’t expect miracle-like fat burning results, expect slow, gradual weight loss over a period of weeks or months.

Are There Any Lean1 Reviews From Customers?

We have found the following Lean1 Shake review testimonials via customers online:

I bought this product because I really enjoy the Smoothie King Lean1 shakes. I purchased a nice blender and decided to save a little money and add the convenience of having a Lean1 shake every morning.

This did absolutely nothing to curb my appetite. It tastes okay, like a typical protein powder flavor.

You have to use 2 scoops, which really makes it go fast. I’ll stick to Pure Protein protein powder. It’s cheaper, tastes about the same and lasts longer.

Overall the product has a 4 star rating on the Amazon platform.

Our Final Verdict On Lean 1 Fat Burning Meal Replacement

To conclude our Lean1 review, it’s a bit of a mixed bag – there are things that we like about it and things that we aren’t too blown away by.

It’s certainly not the worst weight loss shake we’ve ever seen before, but it’s very deceptively marketed at a “fat burning meal replacement” when in reality it really is nothing more than a standard meal replacement shake with a bit of added CLA and Green Coffee Bean Extract.

You may still be able to lose weight with the Lean1 shakes if you stick to a shake-only diet and crash your daily caloric intake right down, but it goes without saying that you can just get the same results from reducing your calories anyway.
