Some Quick Information About Lipozene

Lipozene is a stimulant-free weight loss pill created by a US-based nutrition company named Obesity Research Institute LLC, who claim to have sold 30 million bottles worldwide.

If purchased directly from the manufacturer, one bottle of Lipozene costs just $29.95 and contains 60 capsules – a 30 day supply.

As is implied in the manufacturer’s company name, Lipozene is a product that is targeted towards those looking for assistant losing weight. Obesity Research Institute directly describe this product as a “clinically proven weight loss aid” that works without exercise, and still allows you to eat your favorite foods.

The product itself is simply a Glucomannan capsule. There are no herbal extracts or stimulants inside Lipozene (meaning it’s not what we’d class as a “fat burner pill”).

Consumers of Lipozene are promised effects such as easy weight loss and suppressed appetite levels.

Does Lipozene Work?

We didn’t really have to spend too much time researching this product to gain an insight into how effective it is; Lipozene only contains one ingredient – Konjac Glucomannan.

Glucomannan is an expansive dietary fiber that, when consumed, will expand inside the stomach and produce a natural feeling of fullness and satiety. Regularly consuming Glucomannan can help you naturally lose weight because you’ll tend to consume less food throughout the day. The ingredient has numerous clinical studies and is shown to be very effective for weight loss, provided users consume 3000mg of it per day prior to meals.

The science speaks for itself. We believe that Lipozene could prove to be a very helpful weight management supplement as long as it is used correctly.

While the Lipozene website states that “you can eat your favorite foods”, but what it fails to make obvious is that you’ll need to eat significantly less of your favorite foods! In order for Lipozene to produce tangible weight loss results, you will need to stick to a low calorie diet plan (dropping calories down to around 1000 per day), and ideally, a regular exercise regime.

We believe that, on the whole, there is a lot of disinformation about this product. It is very important to note that Lipozene is not actually capable of burning fat; no ingredients inside this product have the ability to directly and independently “burn body fat”.

Lipozene should only be viewed as a weight loss aid. It is not some kind of miracle product that’ll melt away your body fat with just a few pills per day. Lipozene will help keep you feeling full (though the duration of such effects can heavily vary), which can lead to weight loss over a sustained period if you’re sticking to a caloric deficit.

What Are The Lipozene Ingredients?

We have found the following supplement facts for this product:

Two Capsules Contains: 1500mg Glucomannan.

This product is not suitable for vegetarians or vegans.

What Are The Lipozene Side Effects?

We’ve compiled the following potential side effects based on the ingredients inside this formula:

  • Bloating
  • Flatulence
  • Stomach discomfort
  • Diarrhea [1]

Note: these side effects are possible but may not be the typical user experience.

Is Lipozene Safe?

Based on the ingredients we believe Lipozene is very safe – the formula does not contain any banned or dangerous ingredients.

With that being said, Lipozene is not suitable for those with abnormalities to the esophagus or gut. Users should be aware that Glucomannan does come with a choking risk; in order to safely use the product you must consume each serving with enough watch to ensure the pills reach the stomach successfully.

What Claims Are Being Made About Lipozene?

    1. Clinically proven
    2. Helps support weight loss
    3. Makes you feel full
    4. Allows you to still consume your favorite foods

When looking at the clinical evidence, we found some studies that supported these statements, however we also found studies that did not.

Lipozene Complaints?

While researching Lipozene we found that there have been numerous customers stating that the product didn’t work for them – this is very likely due to incorrect usage (i.e. not consuming the pills with adequate water) rather than the glucomannan “not working”.

Are There Any Reviews From Customers?

We have found the following Lipozene review testimonials via customers at Walmart:

I have been using this product for more than 6 months. Have some noticeable change in loosing weight only with some extra excesses.

I use it because I am in weight management and because my cholesterol and triglcerides are extremely high. It is a good buy.

Where Can I Buy This Product?

This product is available from the official website (www.lipozene.com), Amazon and Walmart. We are not sure if it can be purchased in stores.

Our Conclusion.

To conclude our Lipozene review, overall we feel that this is a decent product, even though it’s essentially just a well-branded Glucomannan capsule.

Starting with the positives, Lipozene is stimulant-free, meaning it’s very unlikely it’ll produce negative side effects for users. It also uses a clinically-proven expansive dietary fiber as it’s main, and only, ingredient. It may help keep you feeling full and will likely help you drop some weight provided you do not continue to overeat while using it.

Obviously, there are some downsides to Lipozene too. As we said above, it’s just a well-branded Glucomannan supplement – you can literally buy generic Glucomannan capsules for very cheap and get the exact same effects. Furthermore, the formula doesn’t contain any metabolism-boosting or energy-increasing ingredients – we would actually say Lipozene is more of an appetite suppressant, rather than a bonafide fat burner.
