Organo OGX Fenix Review
Organo, creators of the ‘healthy’ coffee “Organo Gold”, have now ventured into the health and fitness supplement market with this latest weight loss shake named OGX Fenix. It may be in cool packaging, it may come with some big claims, it may have a cool name that sounds suspiciously like a rap artist, but does it actually work?
In this Organo OGX Fenix review, we’re looking at whether this product is a suitable shake to use for weight loss results.
Let’s take a look at the top level pros and cons of this product:
Some Quick Information On This Product
OGX Fenix is a shake mix produced by the MLM company Organo. The product is intended to be used as a weight loss shake; users are directed to replace 1-3 of their daily meals with the shake in order to lower their overall calorie intake.
It is available in two flavours and comes in a 900g pouch, meaning that one pouch will last users 10 days if they consume the directed three scoops per day.
At the core of the OGX Fenix formula is essentially just whey protein with some added vitamins and minerals, the formula also features some interesting ingredients like Reishi Mushroom Powder which may have some additional added health benefits (though no conclusive scientific study has been able to prove this).
Does Organo OGX Fenix Work?
If you were expecting Organo’s OGX Fenix diet shake to be loaded full of cutting-edge fat burning ingredients (and based on the price of this product, you should expect that), unfortunately that’s not the case. To be crystal clear – this product doesn’t contain a single fat burning or appetite suppressing ingredient at all.
Organo claim this product can be used as a weight management product, but don’t fully elaborate on how; our research team have concluded that to see any weight loss results from this product, users will need to replace their daily meals with the shake. If you do decide to replace meals, we do not recommend going as far as replacing all your meals due to the shakes not being nutritionally-complete enough to provide your body with all the nutrients it needs.
What Are The Organo OGX Fenix Ingredients?
We have found the following ingredients from the Organo official website:
Whey Protein Concentrate (Milk), Cane Sugar, Maltodextrin, Flavouring, Cellulose Gum, Sunflower Lecithin, Reishi Mushroom Powder, Sea Salt, Potassium Chloride, Niacinamide, Vitamin A, Zinc, Calcium, Copper Sulphate, Folic Acid, Thiamine, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Riboflavin, Phytonadione, Potassium, Cyanobalamin.
For allergens, see ingredients in bold. This product is not suitable for anyone with a milk allergy.
What Are The Organo OGX Fenix Side Effects?
We have found the following side effects based on the ingredients used inside this product:
If you are planning on using this product as a meal replacement for all of your daily meals (we do not recommend that), you’ll be placing yourself onto what is medically known as a “VLCD”, a Very Low Calorie Diet. VLCD’s come with the following side effects below:
Dry mouth, constipation or diarrhoea, headache, dizziness, cramps and hair thinning.
What Are The Claims On Organo OGX Fenix?
Organo don’t actually go too crazy with the claims they make about OGX Fenix, below are the following claims we found:
1. A shake mix for Healthy Nutrition and Weight Management
While the claim of health nutrition is quite factual (it does contain vitamins and minerals), we’re skeptical that this product is an effective weight management product for the reasons mentioned above.
Are There Any Reviews From Customers?
We have found the following OGX Fenix review testimonials from customers on Amazon:
Tastes like birthday cake with no after taste. It’s so good I eat it in plain powder form!
VERY MISLEADING! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT! IT SUCKS!
Where Can I Buy This Product?
You can buy the Organo OGX Fenix shake from the manufacturers website, a Organo distributor or on amazon/ebay. We could not find any stores that stock this product.
To finish off our Organo OGX Fenix review, we do not recommend this product. This product isn’t nutritionally-complete enough to be used as a meal replacement shake – the sodium levels are too high and there’s a lot of sugar in the formula. Furthermore, the product doesn’t actually contain any proven fat burning or appetite suppressing ingredients which is disappointing for a product being sold as a weight loss shake. Finally the lack of money-back guarantee and poor reputation of Organo totally put us off this product.
