Some Quick Information On This Product

It’s only right that we start our Phen375 review with a quick rundown on this product. Phen375 is a product that has extensive marketing backing it up, so much so that it’s easy to understand why so many people have either fallen into their trap, or were at least considering it.  The website is very loud and flashy, it grabs your attention instantly and effectively, but when you actually start reading the copy on the webpage, it doesn’t take long for your alarm bells to start ringing.  The first and most glaring sign of Phen375 being a scam product, is the fact that all of the information on the official website is extremely vague.  There’s a lot of text and buzzwords, but it doesn’t actually say anything of note.  This is a common tactic in this industry; wow your customers with rhetoric, but provide no real information.  We’ve seen it a million times before, and at this point if we didn’t laugh we’d probably cry, and since my eye-liner is on point today, I’d rather not have it smudged.  Call me vain if you will.

Despite Phen375 daring to claim it will transform your body into a slimmer, sexier you, the website provides absolutely no evidence that it will do so.  Instead it hopes to convince you not through factual information, but rather through highly polished images of beautiful women plastered all over the screen.  Cheap tricks indeed.  In fact, reading through the product page gives the impression that all you have to do to lose an astronomical amount of weight is pop one of these little miracle pills, then fall asleep on your crusty sofa while watching re-runs of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.  Unfortunately, while that sounds like heaven to most of us, weight loss isn’t that easy.

No doctors note? No money back. Be wary of the 60 money-back guarantee.

Phen375 offer a a 60 money-back guarantee if you do not lose weight within 30 days of using their product. However they will only refund you if you can provide a written note from your doctor proving that you have not lost any weight. Have you ever heard of anything so ridiculous? We highly doubt that a doctor will write you a note for this sort of thing for free, as most GP’s and healthcare professionals charge for these if they aren’t medically necessary (View the guarantee page here).

Does Phen375 Work?

Our Phen375 review team have conclusively said no.  In fact, it will probably have the opposite effect.  Every time we see a product that claims to be an appetite suppressant, we roll our eyes a little.  What usually happens with these products is they paint the false mental impression in the customer’s mind that they simply won’t get hungry while taking the pills.  Over-thinking this is only going to have one outcome; you’re going to start thinking about food.  Hunger is a mental state, people usually aren’t hungry when their minds are focused on other things, but if all you’re thinking about is how to suppress your hunger, you’re only going to end up forcing a delicious blueberry pie down your neck.  With extra cream.

Phen375 also makes a big deal about the supposed metabolism boost it gives you, stating that it raises your body temperature so you sweat more.  This doesn’t mean your metabolism is being increased.  This just means you’re going to be feeling uncomfortable and stuffy while you’re at work.  Sweating out your water weight is a great way of losing some weight in a short period of time, but we suggest booking an hour at the local sauna instead.

What Are The Phen375 Ingredients?

Phen375 has two sets of ingredients, one for the US and one for the EU.  They are as follows;

US Formula

  • Calcium Carbonate 36% Grain
  • Chromium (Pikolinate 12%)
  • L-Carnitine (L-Tartrate) 68%
  • Caffeine Powder Anhydrious (Capsicum frutescens)
  • Cayenne (Capsicum) 10M HU/G
  • Dendrobium Nobile Extract (from orchids)
  • Citrus Aurantium (Fruit) extract (Standardized for 10% synephrine)
  • Coleus Forskolii Root PE (10% Forskolin)

EU Formula

  • Calcium Carbonate 36% Grain
  • Chromium (Pikolinate 12%)
  • L-Carnitine (L-Tartrate) 68%
  • Caffeine Powder Anhydrious (Capsicum frutescens)
  • Cayenne (Capsicum) 10M HU/G
  • Dendrobium Nobile Extract (from orchids)
What’s the difference between the US and EU formulas? The only difference is the EU formula does not contain Citrus Aurantium and Coleus Forskolli Root. While we’re not sure of the reason why Coleus Forskolli is missing from the EU formula, Citrus Aurantium is absent because it is a banned ingredient within the EU (source). That’s right, EU food legislators found that Citrus Aurantium is a dangerous compound, as it contains synephrine which is linked to a whole host of negative side effects.

A Phen375 review would not be complete without a complete ingredient breakdown. Let’s take a look at the ingredients in detail:

Calcium Carbonate (Present in both EU & US formulas) – Does not help with weight loss

We get a lot of questions about calcium supplements, for example what is the right type to use and what’s the right dose to use. Calcium supplements come in two different forms – calcium carbonate and calcium citrate, Calcium carbonate usually comes in larger doses when compared to the citrate alternate, and is better if you are prone to kidney stones or have digestive issues. Why this ingredient in is inside a weight loss product is strange – Calcium supplements are meant for healthy bone structure, they will not contribute to weight loss at all. To us, this looks like what we call a “filler” ingredient, simply added to make the label look more impressive.

Chromium (Present in both EU & US formulas) – Helps regulate blood sugar levels

Credit where credit is due, this is a genuinely good ingredient to have inside a weight loss product as it helps regulate your blood sugar levels. The scientific claim that manufacturers can make in regards to Chromium is that it “contributes to normal macronutrient metabolism and the maintenance of normal blood glucose levels”, what does that mean? Simply put, it helps sustain your body’s ability to burn calories and keep blood sugar levels within a safe zone.

Please note: Chromium does not burn fat; that’s not what we’re saying. It helps the body sustain its usual metabolic patterns, to put it in a simpler way.

Almost 50% of adults are deficient in Chromium – this is a pretty good testament to how bad diet and lifestyles have become in modern times. Chromium is an essential mineral because it makes insulin work – a hormone that helps control blood sugar levels. If you’re deficient in chromium that means your body will not be able to adequately control and regular its blood sugar levels. Chromium is found inside wholefoods (nuts, seeds, fruits & vege etc.). When foods get refined, 98% of chromium gets lost. If you eat a lot of sugar, which most of us do in this day and age, your body releases insulin, which uses chromium. If you’re consuming lots of refined foods as well as eating a lot of sugar it’s easy to use up your chromium levels fast, while having nothing to replace it. We need about 50mcg per day to remain healthy (source).

L-Carnitine (Present in both EU & US formulas) – Amino acid with research to suggest it help support energy levels

Carnitine can come in various different forms such as L-carnitine, acetyl-L-carnitine, and propionyl-L-carnitin. Research into this amino acid has shown that it plays a critical role in energy production within the body. No it’s not a stimulant, rather it works by transporting long-chain fatty acids to the mitochondria so they can be used to produce energy (source).

Note: L-Carnitine does not ‘attack’ fat or anything like that. It simply helps regulate the rate in which your body can ultilise fat for energy. It does not speed up the rate that the body can burn fat or calories (ie. boost the metabolism).

Cayenne (Present in both EU & US formulas) –  Ingredient with no solid research suggesting it directly contributes to weight loss

Cayenne extract, AKA Capsicum, is literally just the extract from a red cayenne pepper. Capsicum has laxative effects and can induce bowel movements. It has also been shown to help improve blood flow.

Dendrobium Nobile Extract – Strong stimulant. No research to suggest it contributes to weight loss.

Dendrobium Nobile Extract is a very strong stimulant that lacks any solid research. The long term effects of this are not known. There is no research suggesting this directly contributes to weight loss.

Coleus Forskolii Root – Lacking research

Forskolin has not been tested or proven to work with usage in humans. Some research has shown that Forskolin can help release stored fat, however other research has debunked this. Regardless, all research has been conducted on animals and in labs, so we cannot confirm whether it works for humans.

Citrus Aurantium – Banned and potentially dangerous ingredient.

Citrus Aurantium contains the dangerous stimulant Synephrine. This ingredient has been linked to many adverse side-effects, so much so that the ingredient has been banned in the EU – this is why we do not see in present in the EU formula. We advise all readers, regardless of location to heed this warning – Citrus Aurantium is not a safe compound to be consuming.

To sum up the Phen375 ingredients have have produced this easy-to-follow checklist:

phen375 ingredients summary checklist

What Are The Phen375 Side Effects?

We asked our Phen375 review team to look deeply into the ingredients that this product uses to compile a comprehensive list of side effects.

As with most self-described appetite suppressants, users can expect a range of side effects including;

Major stomach aches, lower intestine pain, diarrhea, excess gas, headaches, dizziness, eyesight issues, exhaustion, and erectile dysfunction.  Yes, really.

What does Phen375 claim to do?

Phen375, like most supplement products on the market today, claims to be the one source solution for all your battles with weight.  It claims to melt the fat off you with minimal effort and transform you into a sexy beach model who’s ready to be snapped up to be on the cover of Vogue magazine.  Our response to these claims, to quote a certain Donald Trump, is “Wrong!”.  The only thing Phen375 will do is give you a moderate energy boost, and as we all know, that’s not worth the ridiculous price tag you’re forced to pay.  According to Phen375, losing weight is about as simple as a Michael Bay movie plot, but if that was the case, we’d all look like Zac Efron.  Now while I’m more of a Tom Hardy gal myself, there’s no denying who has the better body (yet inferior acting career).

Are There Any Reviews From Customers?

The official website has several phen375 review testimonials, all unbelievably positive.  They even provide some before and after pictures as well as a couple of video testimonials.  We always find it strange how these products all have totally positive reviews, every customer has amazing results, yet still we’re yet to see Phen375 on the cover of a weekly science magazine being hailed as the antidote to obesity.  We’re yet to see Phen375 used in hospitals as an alternative to gastric band surgery.  Funny that, isn’t it?

We’d suggest taking these testimonials with a sizable pinch of salt, as we suspect they’re all completely manufactured.

Looking further into user-submission sites we’ve found the following reviews that look a little more legitimate.

We found these testimonials from the “skinnywithfiber” comments section (link).

Where Can I Buy This Product?

As hyped as phen375 is you’ll probably be surprised to find that you cannot buy it in any stores, which is rather odd for a product that damn-near claims it’s a miracle product. The only place you can buy this product is the official Phen375 website.

Our Conclusion.

To conclude our phen375 review, this product has all the markings of a scam product.  Outrageous claims in regards to melting away your fat with ease, dropping a nuclear warhead on your metabolism to make your fat burning go through the roof, all of this is nonsense.  All this product will do is give you a momentary energy boost, but honestly, who cares?  The price of this ineffective product is quite frankly offensive – at £54.25 per bottle, not including the £8 shipping fee, it starts to get ridiculous.

We highly recommend you stick to our top rated product Thermaxin.
