Testosterone booster supplements are one of the most popular types of product on the shelves of health stores across the world, and for very good reason – they make gaining muscle significantly easier.
While most are targeted towards bodybuilders looking to increase their muscle growth, certain products (like Prime Male) are targeted more towards older men who may be feeling the negative health effects of lowered testosterone levels (such as reduced energy, no sex drive etc.).
In this Prime Male review, we’re taking an in-depth look into the formula to establish what we believe consumers can really expect from it!

What Is Prime Male?
Prime Male is a self-proclaimed “natural testosterone booster” created by a UK-based nutrition company named Propura.
One bottle of Prime Male costs $69.00 (cheaper when you opt for a double or triple pack), contains 120 capsules and will last users for exactly 30 days based on the set directions of four capsules per day; it is only available from the official Prime Male website.
Unlike the vast majority of test booster pills that are marketed as a means of “getting ripped fast”, Prime Male is a product that’s marketed towards men over the age of 40 who are suffering the effects of lowered testosterone.
Prime Male is powered by a completely natural formula that consists of vitamins, minerals, and herbal extracts. Propura themselves describe Prime Male as a fast-working “T-boosting supplement that can help you become the man you once were”.
Those who use of Prime Male are told that they should expect effects such as higher testosterone levels, improved sex drive, higher energy, increased strength, and reduced body fat.
Does Prime Male Work?
Based on our further research into the ingredients powering Prime Male, we believe that in certain circumstances the product will be able to help contribute towards the maintenance of normal testosterone levels in certain individuals, however the idea that Prime Male will elevate your testosterone levels higher than your body’s natural limit is severely lacking evidence.
Firstly, as always with these types of products, your mileage may vary – the promised effects are not guaranteed for every single person who uses the product. Additionally, for every study there is backing it, there’s also a study disproving it.. the jury is still out on most of this.
There’s a very long list of ingredients inside the Prime Male formula, way too many to go into in-depth detail in this short review, however we’ve highlighted the main ones below.
The first primarily ingredient powering Prime Male is D-Aspartic Acid (also known as DAA for short) – one serving contains a rather large 1,600mg. One study into the supplementation of D-Aspartic Acid showed that the substance produced very minor improvements to testosterone levels, whereas another study showed that it can help mildly increase testosterone when enough is consumed for a sustained period of time (note: this study had participants consuming 3,000mg of D-Aspartic Acid each day for 3 months).
With our modern hectic lives, getting in all our daily required vitamins and minerals is difficult, and a vast majority of us will be deficient in something. In addition to the DAA, Prime Male contains 30mg of Zinc in each serving – this is because a clinical study on Zinc’s impact on male hormones showed that 30mg per day was shown to help increase free testosterone levels in men who were deficient in Zinc; the study stated that those who were not deficient in Zinc saw no benefits.
Finally we find a herbal plant extract named Ginseng, which a 1996 study showed can be helpful for increasing DHT and free testosterone in “persons with poor sperm motility”.
The bottom line: Prime Male contains some very useful ingredients that can help increase your energy levels and may also contribute towards normal testosterone levels under certain circumstances, however the product isn’t going to give “steroid-like” results, and it certainly isn’t going to boost your testosterone beyond your body’s natural limit.

Are There Any Prime Male Reviews From Customers?
We have found the following Prime Male review testimonials via customers on eBay:
Well worth the money – great test booster that’s totally transformed my life. I’ve now regained my sex drive and my energy levels are through the roof. I recommend it for sure.
I feel like I can honestly say, after using it for 3 entire months (I picked up a triple pack), that this product does not really help if you’ve got a lowered testosterone. How do I know this? Simple. I actually had my bloods done before AND after using it.. which showed no improvement.
Our Final Verdict On Prime Male
To conclude our Prime Male review, it’s certainly not a bad supplement, but the jury is still out on the science behind many of the ingredients.. as always, “your milage may vary”.
If used correctly, consumers are likely to at least see some benefits from it, but remember that the “testosterone boosting” effects are certainly not guaranteed for 100% of those who use it. Furthermore, this certainly isn’t going to produce steroid-like effects, or boost your testosterone levels higher than your body’s natural limit.
Overall, the customer feedback on Prime Male seems to be largely positive, but we aren’t really able to verify how legitimate the testimonials are.
Whether or not it’s worth the exceptionally high price tag is up for debate, we personally feel that there are similar formulations out there for a much cheaper price.
