Some Quick Information On This Product & Company
As with most protein shake products, customers are sold a very positive future that on the surface requires little effort to attain. The Protein World Slender Blend is no different. Straight away, our Slender blend review team noticed that the potential buyer is promised that merely drinking the shake on a regular basis will gift them the ever so desirable and sought after “beach body”, which has to be the most overused term in the whole weight-loss industry. At this point, getting “beach body ready” seems to be the only incentive marketing executives can think of to get customers to part with their money, it’s hardly original advertising. Aren’t they concerned with causing an overpopulation problem on our already insufferably rammed beaches? I jest, but seriously, surely there’s more motivation to lose weight than to get to a point where you can just lie on a beach all day with no clothes on, what about feeling healthier? Or are we doing this solely to beg for validation from others. But fine, the truth is the whole “beach body ready” angle has proven to be a successful angle to take, so can we really blame Protein World for implementing it?
The Slender Blend claims to be a very low calorie shake, and at less than 150 calories per serving, it certainly appears to be so. It also boasts to having the “most delicious natural flavours”, which dispels the common fear that weight-loss drinks are painfully tasteless and hard to get down. On top of that, they casually mention the shake contains “25 vitamins & minerals & green tea & guarana boost!”, which sounds very impressive to potential buyers, I mean, who doesn’t want a nice guarana boost! Wait, what’s a guarana boost? Never mind, it must be good, it’s listed on the website! The point we’re making here is the marketing strategy is nothing special. It attempts to wow the customer by using all the usual buzzwords in the hope they’ll accept it all at face value and log into PayPal. However, it is a strategy that works.
Is Protein World Slender Blend A Good Product To Help Me Lose Weight?
Putting aside all the flashy bells and whistles of the marketing though, does the product have any substance to it? Can users really get beach body ready in a healthy natural way? Well, sorry to be a party pooper, but things are never quite that simple.
The biggest problem, as always, with these low calorie shakes, is they never fill you up! They’re supposed to be used as a meal replacement but the fact is they are absolutely no substitute in any way to a fulfilling meal whatsoever. People who are trying to lose weight always fail and drop off their diets because they’re constantly hungry. The supplements they take leave them craving food and as a result many people resort to snacking, usually on high carb, high sugar foods. An argument can be made that people taking these kinds of products actually end up gaining MORE weight, as they are driven to desperate eating just to ease their hunger pains. As an interesting related piece of information, Protein World are currently being investigated by authorities over claims they have mislabelled their products, and that the Slender Blend shake actually contains less protein and more carbohydrates than advertised. Obviously this isn’t an ideal formula for weight loss! But how shady is that? They draw you in with promise after promise, making you daydream about how hot and ripped you’ll look on the beach that summer, yet they’re essentially scamming you because the so-called healthy weight-loss drink you’re enthusiastically gulping down isn’t actually suitable to achieve that! Sadly, this is an all too common problem in this industry; impossible promises mixed with false advertising. We find it abhorrent.
All the seemingly impressive vitamins and minerals contained in the shake don’t have any effect on weight loss. There’s absolutely no science to suggest otherwise, and it’s clear the only reason Protein World makes such a big song and dance about these ingredients is because they know potential customers will be impressed just by the sound of it all. If you’re a normal woman, working 9-5 all week, raising kids and are a little overweight due to your hectic lifestyle, are you really going to take the time to research these ingredients and the weight-loss science behind them? Of course you aren’t, you don’t have the time! What you’ll do is stumble upon the Protein World website, see that they’re an established and successful company which therefore obviously must mean they know what they’re talking about, and you’ll buy their product straight away as you’re looking for a quick and easy fix. Protein World know this too, which makes their marketing a bit more cynical in nature. The inclusion of green tea is also pointless, as well as the caffeine elements, since there’s so little caffeine in the shake that an energy boost is pretty much totally impossible to attain. Energy is a key component to weight loss as it allows people to get up and be more active, yet the incredibly low amount contained in the Slender Blend won’t help a bit. In fact, there are Slender Blend review pages online, written by customers, stating that they actually felt extremely tired during the day after drinking it. This is in no way surprising since the calorie count is so low and there’s hardly any caffeine. To put it simply, this is a recipe for disaster. Where will you turn when you need an energy boost? That’s right, the biscuit tin.
Another huge negative is the extortionate price tag. At £32.00 it is incredibly overpriced. It’s obvious to everyone that the customer is paying for the brand name, not the product. The product itself isn’t really any different to any other shake on the market, in fact, it’s distinctly average. It doesn’t give you better results than a shake half the price, but if you’re paying that much you’d darn well expect it too. Protein World know they’re a big name and can therefore squeeze more pennies out of your pocket, but for you personally there’s no added benefit. If you needed a watch strictly to tell the time, would you spend X amounts of thousands on a Rolex, or would you pick up a cheap £10 model from your local mini-mall? They both have the same function, the only difference is the Rolex looks better and has a famous brand name. If your goal is to lose weight, the formula for doing so remains the same in every circumstance. Don’t pay for the weight-loss shake equivalent of a Rolex.

What Are The Protein World Slender Blend Side Effects?
Our slender blend review team found the following potential side effects based on the ingredients used inside this shake:
Whey Protein: Increased bowel movements, nausea, thirst, bloating, cramps, tiredness (fatigue), and headache.
Green Tea Extract: Headache, nervousness, sleep problems, vomiting, diarrhea, irritability, irregular heartbeat, tremor, heartburn, dizziness, ringing in the ears, convulsions, and confusion.
Guarana Extract: Insomnia, nervousness and restlessness, stomach irritation, nausea, vomiting, increased heart rate and blood pressure, rapid breathing, tremors, delirium and diuresis.
Unfortunately, the Protein World Slender Blend shake has a few side effects that really throw you off your game. The biggest side effect is a consistently uneasy stomach, even diarrhoea in some cases. This isn’t pleasant obviously, but it’s not a surprising side effect considering the whole point of the shake is to replace meals in your diet. Your stomach can’t just jump from digesting solid foods to only dealing with liquid in such a sudden shift. There’s a long adjustment period in regards to this, and it can be very uncomfortable and demotivating.
Another side effect is nausea. This may have something to do with the consistency of the product itself, but it can cause you to feel a little sick from time to time, especially in the mornings. If you’re getting ready to drop the kids off at school before driving to work, this is the last thing you want to deal with. People take these products to feel healthier, but with this shake, the road to feeling better is paved with pot holes of puke, which can totally destroy your enthusiasm for taking the product in the first place and trying to lose weight.
What does Protein World Slender Blend claim to do?
Funnily enough, Protein World don’t make any hard claims on this product – they just let their marketing efforts heavily imply it. We can only imagine that the reason that no claims are made is because the product doesn’t contain any scientifically proven ingredients that cause weight loss.. so if you don’t lose any weight while using this product, well.. they never said you would!
Are There Any Reviews From Customers?
This product is a very heavily reviewed one, in fact there are loads of outlets that have published a Slender Blend review.. we applaud their PR team! As always, we’d suggest anyone researching this product to avoid the reviews on the official Protein World website, since of course they are unrealistically positive and probably cherry-picked.
However if you look further afield online you get a more mixed and balanced idea of how people feel.
We have found the following Slender Blend review testimonials from users:
I feel like i am the only one who didn’t lose weight using this. I have the weight loss collection. I use them diligently and hit the gym three times a wk. after two wks, I gained 1.5 kilos. I dont think that’s muscle gained. My clothes are all tighter and i feel bulkier. I am so disappointed. Worst part is protein world censored my feedback and didn’t publish my comments. They only publish good ones it seems.
Within 3 days I was very ill, stomach spasms, bloating, too pained to sleep. I am now in the process of trying to get answers. Listen to your body. Don’t ignore early signs of a negative reaction. I have no prior experience of an intolerance so am shocked by what happened.
We ask all our readers to be vigilant trusting reviews that are posted on manufacturer websites.

Our Readers Also Looked At:
To wrap up our Slender Blend Review, we do not recommend this product. This shake paints itself as something special but in reality it’s painfully average and dull. The real success of this product is the fantastic marketing campaign that Protein World have rolled out for it. They sell you a dream, a dream where you are lying on a beach looking as hot as ever, and all you had to do to achieve that dream was drink a milkshake three times a day. The reality is that is a fantasy.
Weight-loss is a simple formula but it’s not easy, not by a long shot. You need willpower, motivation and a drive to succeed. You also need to do it for the right reasons, not because you were seduced by flashy advertising and false promises. The price is extortionate, the company is being investigated for false claims, the side effects can be painful (As seen in one of the above reviews) and the likelihood of you feeling like you’re starving to death while taking this shake is a very big probability, as it doesn’t fill you up whatsoever.
Overall, all flash, no fiddle. We recommend you stick to our top rated weight loss shake, Burner Shake.
